Cell Phone Photography : Return to the Monastary

We made a trip back to the monastary in Kent, NY. Such a cool place, even though I stand out *ahem* just a tad. Nice people though! An old man taught us the zen way to feed koi fish. Now cue my karate kid montage.

Photography : Celebration at Ground Zero (the death of Osama Bin Laden)

We had the pleasure of joining the crowds down at Ground Zero when the news of Bin Laden's death spread. Pretty damn amazing. It's the first time people have cheered like this in that spot for ten years, and it's well-deserved. As a New Yorker, it's also the first time I've truly felt like the 9/11 chapter was - in some ways - resolved. I am proud of both President Bush and President Obama for their hard work in defending New York City. Nice job, America. Let's hope this is the start of a new day and a new world.
